Setting the tone of, and tailoring your application to match the recruiter's needs. Covering letters set the tone of an application and must be tailored to what the recruiter is looking for. Your covering letter supports your CV —it does not repeat it! Furthermore, your covering letter should not exceed one (A4) page and resist the temptation to write an essay. Avoid using words to describe yourself. Focus instead on describing your accomplishments.

Coaching & advice on editing & re-design, including check for logic & flow, improve professional tone. Your CV should immediately demonstrate/outline what the recruiter is looking for. Build a narrative not chronological list/answer. Curate experiences that are relevant to the role. Highlight key accomplishments namely skills and traits the recruiter is looking for.
